In June of 2008 a very good customer of ours, Liz & Tim Fromm, lost their home when Lake Delton emptied into the Wisconsin River. We had made several custom pieces of furniture for them, one was a dining table with Lake Delton carved into the center and a cabin marked the spot where their home sat on the lake. The Children helped place the markers of their favorite fishing spots and a boat where their dock was. Below are videos and pictures of this furniture after it was rescued 9 miles down the Wisconsin River. We are currently in the process of repairing this furniture so that we can give it back to our customer as a way of helping them in such a hard time. This is also a testament to the quality workmanship we do. Our furniture was the only thing to survive this disaster. We will post pictures of the furniture after it has been repaired.

We had tried dark blue for the lake in the dine table, Tim and Liz wanted to change this and make it lighter and add some inlays for the position of their home on the lake

Jim ( JV Fine Feather ) is doing the finishing touches on the buffet before we deliver it to Tim & Liz

This is the finished dine table and chairs in Tim & Liz dining room, We had lightened the lake considerably and they were very happy with the results

The buffet on the day it was delivered to Tim & Liz, shortly before Thanksgiving

The above 2 pictures is how the table looks after the flood, amazingly it is only missing its legs, the top will require a new finish but overall in very good shape.

Believe it or not this is how the buffet looks after the flood, it is missing the back but other than that it is in one piece, They said they found it drawers intact.

Above is the coffee table the day it was delivered. Below it the coffee table after the flood
This furniture was in the 3 story house that is swept away about 1/2 way through the video
